Warranty Policy

Your Tecalemit product is warranted to the original user against defects in workmanship or materials under normal use for a minimum period of one year after purchase date. PIUSI products are warranted for two years and RAASM products are warranted for five years.

Any product which is deemed to be defective in material and workmanship and returned to Tecalemit, shipping and costs prepaid, will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Tecalemit.

Replacement of items is at the sole discretion of Tecalemit and its representatives, items must be deemed defective before replacement products are supplied, credited or swapped over.

The warranty does not cover damage or failure which in the judgement of Tecalemit has arisen from misuse, abrasion, corrosion, negligence, accidental damage, faulty installation or tampering.

If Tecalemit inspection discloses no defect in material or workmanship, repair or replacement will be made at customary charges.

Tecalemit has made a diligent effort to accurately illustrate and describe it’s product in all it’s literature. However such illustrations are not a warranty.

The above express warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties, express orimplied, including without limitation, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

The purchaser shall give written notice of any claim within 10 days after discovery of any alleged defect.

Tecalemit shall not be liable for consequential damage, losses, delays, labour costs or any other expense directly or indirectly arising from the use of the product, its liability being expressly limited to the replacement or repair of any defective product or an allowance of credit thereof at the full discretion of Tecalemit and it representatives.

The remedy and recovery of the purchaser on any claim against Tecalemit either based on contract of this warranty or any alleged negligence shall be stated and limited herein and shall be exclusive.

Orders that incur a delivery charge/freight will be notified at the time of order.

Terms and Conditions

Price Lists

All prices quoted do not include GST. List prices and delivery charges are based on current costs and are therefore subject to alteration without notice. Goods will be invoiced at the prices ruling at the date of delivery.

Payment Terms

Standard trading terms are net thirty (30) days to approved credit customers. Payment is required on or before the last working day of the month following month of invoice. For non-account holders all purchases will require payment before goods are dispatched.

Freight

Account customer orders over $550 +GST will be FIS metro areas in State Capital Cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth). Account customer orders under $550 will be $40 +GST.

All other areas, orders and non-account customers -  freight cost on buyers’ account.

Industrial lubrication items, Bunded Spill Pallets, Hoists, Tanks, Oil Drainers and special orders excluded from FIS.

Warranty

Return of Goods

Goods returned for credit will only be accepted up to fourteen (14) days from date to despatch provided authorisation is obtained and the goods are received in ‘as new’ condition. All freight charges to customer account. Credit will be allowed after 15% is deducted for handling. Merchandise returned because of errors or other deficiencies on the part of the seller will be replaced at no charge or full credit allowed after the return of same. Non-standard products are non-returnable.

Tecalemit Pty Limited reserves the right to make any alteration or improvement to, or departure from, any specification or design or withdraw products at any time, unless otherwise agreed.
